The ‘Modern Elegance’ Collection is the Wana Sambo Woman’s clean and chic wardrobe. The designer wanted to play with colors and keep all looks simple and clean.  We wanted a fun side of the Wana Sambo Woman and we wanted to appeal to the woman on trend, hence the name ‘Modern Elegance’. We used colors like Mint Blue, Pale Pink, Wood Brown, Tan, Black.

Modern Elegance features renowned female rapper, Eva Alordia as the face/ambassador. Eva is seen in soft colors as she embodies the stong, sexy and exotic Wana Sambo Woman!!

Its been almost 4 years since the launch of the Wana Sambo brand and in this time, we've won and been nominated for several awards, dressed A-List celebrities in the African Diaspora, and so much more!

This collection is very dear to the designer’s heart as it is dedicated to her father, Tonipre Joseph Sambo. She used strictly dark colors like Maroon, Gray and Black to represent the emotions herself and her family has gone through in the past few months.

To the designer, this collection is defined thus: ‘’True definition of strength is being strong even when everyone expects you to be weak. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall or how long it takes you to muster up strength or courage to get back up, all that matters is that you do and when you get back up, you stand tall, and you are ready to face the world.”

The collection is a mix of silhouettes, which every woman would need in her wardrobe. The use of Cotton, Tulle and Lace emphasizes Strength to Frailty to mystery and finally, control of one’s self and existence after fully understanding that everything in life has to come together for one to survive, find a balance and find joy which is necessary for your sanity.
