Thank
you for who you are, for
All you
are has made me who I am.
This collection is very dear to
the designer’s heart as it is dedicated to her father, Tonipre Joseph Sambo.
She used strictly dark colors like Maroon, Gray and Black to represent the
emotions herself and her family has gone through in the past few months.
To the designer, this collection
is defined thus: ‘’True definition of strength is being strong even when
everyone expects you to be weak. It doesn’t matter how many times you fall or
how long it takes you to muster up strength or courage to get back up, all that
matters is that you do and when you get back up, you stand tall, and you are
ready to face the world.”
The collection is a mix of silhouettes,
which every woman would need in her wardrobe. The use of Cotton, Tulle and Lace
emphasizes Strength to Frailty to mystery and finally, control of one’s self
and existence after fully understanding that everything in life has to come
together for one to survive, find a balance and find joy which is necessary for
your sanity.
